To everyone who purchased the BUGROCK, thank you so much. Every time I receive a post or message from a customer saying, “The bait has arrived!” I am deeply moved by the thought that the bait we carefully crafted at MBD has safely made its way from Japan to the United States, over 10,000 kilometers away. The fact that MBD bait can cross such a distance is not just about the bait reaching your hands. It symbolizes a story being passed from our hands to yours.

I do not take this fortunate situation for granted. I deeply appreciate that it is built upon the daily efforts I put into our work and the unwavering support from you. MBD’s mission is not just to create baits but to deliver excitement and memories to anglers around the world through our baits. Moving forward, I will continue to work diligently to share the charm of MBD baits with even more people and add color to your fishing experiences.

Now that the latest baits drop has successfully concluded, I have already begun preparations for the next challenge. The creation of baits for the Gathering has already started, with no time to rest. Every MBD baits is fully handcrafted, and each one carries its own unique story. Even if the models look the same, each bait has its distinct personality, shaped by the particular wood material and texture used at that time, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

For example, some woods are heavier, with a sense of weight that enhances their presence in the water. Other woods are lighter, with buoyancy and weight that work in opposition, causing the bait to grip the water powerfully as it swims. In this way, MBD baits are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, maximizing the natural materials at hand to meet anglers’ expectations.

Each bait is a work, born from the fusion of MBD’s passion, skill, and the natural materials I use. Behind each one lies the story of its creation and the thoughts I poured into it.
